The terms of that divorce decree can be modified to address these changed circumstances, whether that means a decrease in child support, an increase in child support, a new restriction that the parent making the home for the children not move beyond a specified geographic area, the loosening of a previous restriction on a parent moving outside a certain geographic area, changing who has what type of custody over the children and even the visitation schedules.
